Monday, 3 February 2014 | 331 days to go

Well the trip to London on Sunday (2 Feb), to take my daughter and friends to see Taylor Swift, went smoothly. Not much traffic on the way there, and almost no traffic after midnight on the return trip. Finally got back to Glastonbury around 2.45 am. They all had a great time and I got to spend a few hours with my brother. 🙂

Davy arranged for us to meet up with our prospective drummer on Wednesday this week. We’re going to get together in La Terre at lunch time, one of the coffee shops in Glastonbury, and potential gig venue for us. The rest of the days Emma, Davy and I are scheduled to apply to as many local(ish) festivals as we can find in the few hours either side of our meeting.

Croissant Neuf

I sent a demo CD off to the organiser of the Croissant Neuf Stage at Glastonbury Festival. The festival site being only a few miles away, it would be daft not to try every possible avenue to get to play there.

Off to rehearsal this evening. It’s always good to get back to doing what this is all about – trying to free ourselves up time-wise and financially to just make music most of the time.

Thanks, as always, for reading.

Best wishes,
