I submitted our entries into the Glastonbury Festival Emerging Talent Contest and the Hard Rock Cafe competition, Hard Rock Rising. The Emerging Talent Contest is judged by a panel of 40 people from the music industry. We will hear in early March whether we’ve got through to the next round or not. The next round involves playing a short, live set to an audience. We just keep our fingers crossed we get through as performing live is certainly one of our strengths.

Hard Rock Rising is base on fan votes, so if you’d like to help Lazy Daze out please vote by downloading our free track. 🙂

Davy made contact made contact with Ian, who runs Studio 9, a recording Studio in Glastonbury, and arranged for us to meet with him and discuss options and costs on Monday, at 7 pm. I haven’t been in a recording studio for many, many years, so I’m looking forward to it.

If you have any advice on how long it might take to record an album, lets say 10 tracks, that would be helpful. The current plan is to record live, as far as is possible. I’ll let you know what the guy at Studio 9 advises.

Best wishes,
