Sunday, 19 January 2014 | 346 Days to go

No musicing today, so I thought I’d capture a snapshot of social media, and other, stats. Every so often I’ll do an update and try and come to conclusions as to what works and what doesn’t. Hopefully we’ll start to establish what activity is most effective at gaining us exposure, and / or generating revenue. It’s very early days but here we go.

I also came across a software tool for adding a Pinterest tab to a Facebook page. Using Woobox couldn’t have been easier. This is what I did, I’m sure there are many ways to get the same result. I signed into Facebook and went to the our Lazy Daze Facebook page. I then signed into our Pinterest page in a new tab. On the Woobox page I selected the static tabs tab, across the top of the page, clicked on Create a New Tab in the top right-hand corner and selected Pinterest. The rest pretty much took care of itself.

I’m looking forward to the next rehearsal tomorrow night, where we’ll also discuss Saturday’s recording session and decide what next.

If you have any top-tips for getting exposure for a band; websites, contacts, anything, it would be great to have your comments. And recording advice would be appreciated. 🙂

Thanks for reading.

Take care
